USA Today’s 10Best voters have again selected Silver Dollar City’s Christmas festival as the nation’s “Best Theme Park Holiday Event.” It’s the eighth time “An Old Time Christmas” has earned the honor.
The ranking is the result of several weeks of online voting on the USA Today website.

Silver Dollar City’s Christmas celebration began in 1988, with strands of lights and Christmas caroling in Town Square. It has since grown in to a best-in-class festival featuring 6.5 million lights, an eight-story LED special effect Christmas tree, Broadway-style Christmas shows, Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade, the “Christmas in Midtown Light Spectacular,” endless holiday comfort foods, and much more.
This year they’ve added a new live Grand Fir tree and nightly lighting ceremonies in the expanded Plaza area, as well as a new Christmas show featuring the Queen of Bluegrass Rhonda Vincent.
In 2026, an all-new Christmas parade is set to debut.
“An Old Time Christmas” runs now through Jan. 4, 2026.
