For the first time ever, Silver Dollar City will extend “An Old Time Christmas” into the new year.
In addition to its usual schedule in November and December 2024, the park will now also operate Jan. 2, 3, and 4, 2025. (Note the park will remain closed on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.)
In addition, the Showboat Branson Belle has added new cruises Jan. 2-4, and the SDC Campground will remain open through Jan. 5.

Silver Dollar City’s Christmas celebration began in 1988, with strands of lights and Christmas caroling in Town Square. It has since grown in to a best-in-class festival featuring 6.5 million lights, two Broadway-style Christmas shows, Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade, the “Christmas in Midtown Light Spectacular,” endless holiday comfort foods, and much more.
The most recent festival addition was “Joy on Town Square” in 2019. The experience includes an eight-story LED special effect Christmas tree capable of displaying a variety of graphics from more than a million points of illumination.
“An Old Time Christmas” has been selected as Best Theme Park Holiday Event six different times by USA Today readers, most recently in 2023.
