After delaying their season for three months due to COVID-19 concerns, Silver Dollar City (SDC) has announced they will open on Sat., June 13 and Sun., June 14 to season pass holders, and to all guests beginning Mon., June 15.
In compliance with social distancing guidelines, park capacity will be limited and all guests will be required to make reservations in advance of their visit. Reservations can be made via the SDC mobile app or SilverDollarCity.com/reservations.
Face coverings and contactless temperature checks will also be required for all staff and visitors.
These requirements align with recent reopening announcements by Disney, Six Flags, and other theme parks.
The all-new Rivertown Smokehouse and Cinnamon Bread Bakery will open on June 13. The new Mystic River Falls ride will open later in the summer.
2020 marks Silver Dollar City’s 60th anniversary. A number of events were previously planned to celebrate their “Diamond Jubilee,” but details on the rescheduling of those events has not yet been announced.
White Water waterpark will open on Mon., June 15 and Tues., June 16 to season pass holders, and to all guests beginning Wed., June 17. Guidelines will be similar to those at SDC, including reduced capacity, contactless temperature checks, and required face coverings
The Showboat Branson Belle will open Sat., June 20 with similar guidelines.
