Branson reinforces commitment to becoming America’s Christmas Tree City

The Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce has announced additional plans to promote Branson as “America’s Christmas Tree City.”

Building off the success of last year’s inaugural “Branson Christmas Tree Tour,” the city will be home to over 100 of the most colorful, unique, and creative trees in all shapes, sizes, and forms. The trees accent an already expansive list of music shows, shopping, family attractions, and dining options available during the Branson Christmas season.

A new seasonal marketing logo is being unveiled and more than $400,000 will be spent in advertising, social media efforts, content distribution, and search engine marketing with the goal of attracting an additional 100,000 visitors this year.

“Branson has been recognized as one of the best Christmas destinations in America by NBC’s Today Show, USA Today, A&E Network, Travel Channel, and The Wall Street Journal. Branson is, and forever will be, a ‘Merry Christmas’ town,” said Jeff Seifried, the Chamber’s president and CEO.
