Branson Landing to celebrate new tree with lighting ceremony Thursday

The Branson Landing will celebrate their new 63-foot state-of-the-art Christmas tree with a tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. this Thurs., Dec. 10.

The event will be emceed by KOLR 10’s Tom Trtan, and will feature Christmas dancers from Sonshine Dance, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause. Hot cocoa and treats from Kilwins will also add to the merriment.

The 5.5-story tree is capable of producing over a billion color combinations, and is choreographed to “dance” with six different songs. It’s visible from the top of the hill in Branson Landing and is a clear focal point to the annual Winter Wonderlanding celebration.

See a short preview of the tree below. The new addition is sponsored by the Bank of Missouri.

This is just one of over 700 Christmas trees you can explore in America’s Christmas Tree City this year. Check out our Branson Christmas Tree Tour guide for a map of some of the biggest and brightest trees in town.
