Starbucks unveils 2018 holiday cup designs, new reusable cup

The Christmas season has officially arrived in Branson, and Starbucks is getting in the spirit with the debut of their 2018 holiday cup designs.

Four new cups will be unveiled at Starbucks stores nationwide (including the location near the Branson Landing) Friday, Nov. 2. The designs take a more traditional approach this year, with retro patterns and shades of red, green, and white. There’s a green star-themed argyle pattern cup, one with a red and white houndstooth-inspired design, a classic red-striped cup, and another covered in mistletoe-like coffee cherries.

The chain is also introducing a new grande-sized plastic reusable holiday cup this year (pictured above), which will be given free to customers who order a seasonal drink on Nov. 2. Customers returning with the cup will also receive a 50 cent discount on holiday drinks ordered after 2 p.m. between Nov. 4 and Jan. 7.

Friday also marks the unveiling of their holiday drink menu featuring six returning holiday favorites: Peppermint Mocha, Chestnut Praline Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Gingerbread Latte, Caramel Brulee Latte, and Egg Nog Latte. A new to-be-announced drink will join the menu in the coming days.

The new holiday pastry lineup features a pistachio honey croissant, a sugarplum cheese danish, a chocolate swirl brioche, and a penguin cake pop, in addition to the returning Cranberry Bliss Bar and gingerbread loaf.

Starbucks has one company-operated store in Branson, located at 201 E Main Street in the heart of Downtown and steps away from the Branson Landing. Starbucks kiosks are also located inside Target and select Country Mart locations around the area.
