Branson and Silver Dollar City continue to shine in the national spotlight with a live broadcast on Fox & Friends early this morning.
As part of the show’s “Main Street USA” series, co-anchor Steve Doocy traveled to Branson to highlight SDC’s award-winning ‘An Old Time Christmas festival’ and the many other holiday attractions across Ozark Mountain Country.
The live walk-through featured some of the best aspects of the park’s Christmas celebration, including 6.5-million lights, Christmas in Midtown, an eight-story animated tree in Town Square, Rudolph and friends, Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Present from Dickens’ Christmas Carol, Saloon girls, cinnamon bread, Waissail, candy makers, carolers, and more.

Doocy talked with several folks during the seven-minute segment, including SDC President Brad Thomas, Branson City Administrator Cathy Stepp, Candy Maker Aunt June, and SDC Publicists Madison Foreman and Brandei Clifton.
Before wrapping up the segment, Doocy was presented keys to both Silver Dollar City and the City of Branson.
It’s been a big week for Branson, as the Historic Downtown was featured in a live broadcast on NBC’s Today Show last week, and USA Today named Big Cedar “Best Hotel for the Holidays” and the Christmas festival at Silver Dollar City was again ranked “Best Holiday Theme Park Event” for the eighth time.
An Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City continues now through Jan. 4, 2026.
