Let’s face it: theme park tickets aren’t cheap, especially if you’re trying to bring the whole family.
Branson’s Silver Dollar City is no exception, but there are a few ways to stretch your ticket dollars to be sure you get the best experience at the lowest possible cost.
Here are a few options for finding the best pricing on tickets to Silver Dollar City, known around the globe for its impressive “An Old Time Christmas” celebration.
Single and two-day tickets online
Buying a single-day ticket is overall the most expensive option. Single-day tickets at the gate or online are $85 for adults and $75 for children ages 4-11 (children under 3 are free).
However, A two-day ticket is available for just a bit more — $105 for adults and $95 for children. That equates to $52.50 per day for adults and $47.50 per day for children.
Ticket prices have been increasing throughout the season, so we do recommend purchasing tickets in advance to lock in the current price. Although you’re asked to select a specific date, tickets can actually be used for any operating day that year.

Price Cutter $70 Thursday tickets
This popular promotion has returned for the 2022 Christmas season, although it’s not as good of a deal as we’ve seen in past years. If you’re able to visit on a Thursday (also one of the least busiest day of the week in the park), stop by select Price Cutter locations in Missouri (including Ramey, Country Mart, Summer Fresh, Food Pyramid, King Cash Saver, and Pyramid Express) to purchase discounted SDC tickets for $70 (that’s a $15 savings compared to a $85 single-day ticket).
There are two Country Mart’s (newly rebranded as King Cash Saver) near the park:
- 18128 State Hwy 13, Branson West, Mo.
- 1447 MO-248, Branson, Mo. (Shepard of the Hill Expy)
See a full list of participating Price Cutter locations here. The $70 tickets can be purchased any day, but can only be used on a Thursday the park is open through Dec. 29, 2022. In 2021, the discounted tickets were NOT valid for use on Thanksgiving Day, and it’s likely that will also be true for 2022.
‘Silver Dollar City Times’ coupons
The Silver Dollar City Times magazine is mailed to current (and sometimes past) season pass holders. The latest edition includes several coupons that can be used by anyone (not just pass holders). These coupons are only valid on specific dates so pay attention to the offer details and fine print.
Arvest Bank customer discount
Arvest Bank became the “official sponsor of family fun” at Silver Dollar City in 2021.
Arvest Bank customers can receive a $7 discount on single-day tickets when using an Arvest debit or credit card to purchase tickets at the park box office. A special Silver Dollar City debit card design is also available.
More details on the Arvest partnership is available here.

Season passes — best option for multiple visits
If you plan to visit SDC more than once next year, you should take advantage of the option to upgrade an existing single-day ticket to a season pass (for unlimited entries) for just $65 — that’s less than a single day ticket!
You must purchase the upgrade while you’re still in the park (there’s a booth near by the exit). Upgrades do not include the complimentary guest tickets that accompany the full-price season passes.
This upgrade is available even with the Price Cutter $70 discounted tickets, which means you get to enjoy the park that day plus all of 2023 operating dates for $135 total (plus tax).
Season pass holders receive a 10% discount on food purchases inside the park and a $5 discount on single-day tickets for others in your party.
You’re not eligible for the upgrade if you currently hold a 2022 season pass, though those passes can also be renewed during your visit or online.
Military Discount
Military personnel can purchase discounted tickets online. This is valid for U.S. active or retired military, veterans, and military reservists, their spouse, and dependent children living in their household.
Adult tickets are $59.50, children ages 4-11 are $52.50, and children under 3 are free.
You must verify your status using ID.me to take advantage of this milirary discount.
Sam’s Club & AAA
Sam’s Club and AAA members can save up to 15% on ticket purchases. Check your membership website for exact discount details.
