Branson’s live show phenomenon began when the Baldknobbers entertained fishermen on the lakefront in downtown Branson in 1959. It started with the four Mabe brothers and continues today with second and third generation Mabe’s and a talented cast of seventeen singers, musicians, and comedians. "The Baldknobbers" show offers the best of classic country, new country hits, and hilarious comedy, all wrapped up in a high energy performance. Each year features an entirely new show including the music, comedy, and costumes. What never changes is the high caliber of performances by both family and friends who share the stage.
