Barry Williams, The Haygoods to appear in Branson-based GAC reality show

It’s not easy breaking into show business. Even in Branson. Even when you’re a member of The Brady Bunch.

Barry Williams — known for his role as Greg Brady — moved to Branson and now stars in a 70s revue show that has yet to fill seats. A new Great American Country (GAC) television series spotlights the star’s struggle to start fresh in America’s Heartland.

“I’ve decided to give up the Hollywood life and move all the way to Branson, Missouri to start a new life,” says Williams in the series preview.

“I thought that I could put on my show and people would come. Clearly, that just hasn’t been the case.”

And that’s where the Haygoods come in.

The talented family promises to help Barry get established in town, find success for his show, and show him just how fun the Ozarks can really be. The Haygoods have grown into a powerful Branson brand over the past 22 years, a career that all began with an eight-year Silver Dollar City residency.

The first two episodes of “A Very Barry Branson” will air on GAC (check local listing for channel number) on Thurs., Feb. 5 at 8 p.m. CST.
